I'm a busy, busy gal

I tend to wait until the last minute to start things. Well, actually that's not entirely true. I just assume that it won't take me as long as it usually does, and therefore I get behind.

What I'm talking about is getting ready for the Band Parents Craft Show - November 18 at Normal West High School. I'm not a band parent, but you don't have to be do take part. They'll still take your money and put it to good use.

Part of my problem with getting ready for this show is that I can't seem to narrow down what it is I do. I knit, crochet, and sew; and I tend to want to try to make everything and anything. A touch of ADD maybe? ;-)

For now I have made; handbags and purses, handknit socks, mittens, sweater vests, hats, Christmas tiered skirts, and Christmas shirts for boys. And I won't stop there I'm sure. I'm compelled to do more and more. Somebody stop me - I need direction.

Ebay is PAINFULLY slow for me. Has been for quite awhile. Actually, many sellers are having a time of it. That whole "raising store fees" thing was a fiasco. I was one of the MANY that ended up closing their stores because the fee increase was the straw that broke the camel's back. I wasn't selling much of anything from mine, so why pay more to lose money?

Here's what it up on my calendar for October/November:
Just 4 Babies is a new group for those that sell custom baby items. We are having two launches soon: SNOW BABIES October 1-7. And JINGLE BABIES October 15-21

BDB BGames runs October 30th through Nov 10th.

I am going to be buried in my sewing room until at least the end of November. In time for Thanksgiving....and my Aunt Val who is coming from Maine. Did I mention she's a gourmet cook? I love that woman!
